Elizabeth Crowens is the pen name for a veteran writer who is a regular contributor to Blackgate.com. A 15-year veteran of the film industry in Hollywood, a member of Mystery Writers of Americam the Horror Writers Association, Sisters in Crime and Broad Universe. It won First Prize in the 2016 Goethe Awards for Turn of the Century Historical Fiction, First Prize for Steampunk in the Independent Press Awards and came in as a finalist in four other competitions. It is available at selected retail bookstores such as The Mysterious Bookshop in New York City and through Ian Randall Stock, one of the dealers at Philcon. It will be re-released in its second edition along with its sequel, A Pocketful of Lodestones, in the summer of 2019. Crowens also writes Hollywood Suspense with black humor and has a story in the New York State of Fright anthology released in 2018. She is a regular contributor to Blackgate.com.
