Alex Shvartsman

Alex Shvartsman is a writer, translator and anthologist. Over 100 of his short stories have appeared in Nature, IGMS, Daily Science Fiction, Galaxy's Edge, and many other 'zines and anthologies. He's the winner of 2014 WSFA Small Press Award for Short Fiction and the two-time finalist for the Canopus Award for Excellence in Interstellar Fiction. His collection, "Explaining Cthulhu to Grandma and Other Stories" and novella "H. G. Wells, Secret Agent" were published in 2015. His second collection is forthcoming in 2018. Alex is the editor of Unidentified Funny Objects, an annual anthology series of humorous SF/F, as well as several other anthologies including the recently published Humanity 2.0 from Arc Manor/Phoenix Pick and the upcoming The Cackle of Cthulhu from Baen Books.
